Teeth Straightening Removable Orthodontic Appliances

Among our most popular treatments for mild cases of misaligned bites, crowding and unwanted spaces are those using removable appliances.

Aside from achieving excellent results, it’s fantastic to be able to remove your orthodontic appliance when you are eating or brushing your teeth, or for any other reason. The key is to stay disciplined and keep the appliance in for the recommended time each day.

Quick Straight Teeth

QST has a range of removable appliances, including almost invisible clear trays similar to the well-known invisalign brand, as well as special aligners with a patented feature that makes them the most comfortable of their kind.

Removable

QST’s clear aligner trays are customised to fit your teeth exactly over the length of the treatment, using gentle forces to reposition your teeth. This is the easiest aligner to live with, as it is essentially a removable, all-plastic mould that fits your teeth perfectly. Behind that simplicity, though, is some amazing state-of-the-art technology that creates a series of trays that fit perfectly during each stage of the treatment as your teeth progressively move.

QST clear aligner trays are:

QST also has special aligners that include two slim sections – one facing the back of teeth and the other the front – that use gentle pressure to bring the teeth into proper alignment. Their design and colour makes them very discreet in the mouth.

These QST aligners offer unmatched comfort among appliances of this kind, thanks to the patented fully enclosed nickel-titanium spring that creates the force. More importantly to you, in cases where these appliances are suitable, you can achieve straight teeth in just 6 to 16 weeks, and you can take the aligner out at any time if you need to.

Inman Aligner

Ace Dental also offers the Inman Aligner, which is very similar to the QST appliance. It’s often the perfect solution for crowding or protrusion of the front teeth, achieving ideal results in complete safety in just 6 to 18 weeks.

Like the QST, the Inman Aligner involves two opposing sections putting gentle pressure on the front and back of the teeth. We will take an impression of your teeth and your aligner will be made to match that exactly. Once the Inman Aligner is fitted you will need to wear it for at least 16 hours each day and we will check on progress every two or three weeks. After treatment, as with the QST, you will need to wear a removable retainer or have one permanently fixed to the back of your teeth.

The Inman Aligner is very effective at correcting mild misalignments and movements following previous orthodontic treatment and is one of our most price-friendly treatments.

Invisalign

Invisalign is similar to QST clear aligners – it’s like the orthodontic treatment you have without even feeling as though you’re having treatment. Because you can remove it whenever you want to, this orthodontic treatment option has minimal effect on your lifestyle, and because it’s almost invisible, you can smile during treatment as well as after.

From an impression of your teeth we use cutting-edge technology to create a series of aligners, each slightly different from the last, to take you through your treatment. Each aligner is worn for two weeks, and you need to keep them in for at least 22 hours a day for the best results. You will use between 18 and 30 aligners, depending on the complexity of the case, and treatment times range from 9 to 15 months.
