Don’t stand out from the crowd because your teeth are discoloured

It is a sad fact of life that teeth accumulate stains over the years. Those foods and drinks we love to consume leave behind stains that can build up, leaving us almost too embarrassed to smile. Truth is, people look at our teeth when we meet them. We’re programmed to assess people as friend or foe by their smile, so people can’t help but notice your teeth.

At Ace Dental in Camden, teeth whitening is one of our most popular treatments.

How does teeth whitening work?

At our practice in Camden, teeth whitening comes in two methods of delivery. Both use a clinically safe amount of bleaching agent in the form of a hydrogen peroxide gel. We use 3 different brands of teeth whiteners, from Boutique, Enlighten and Zoom! These have been tried and trusted for many years.

In our whitening room

Power teeth whitening is carried out at our friendly practice in our special whitening room, where you can relax and watch TV or listen to music. A guard is placed on your gums to protect them before the whitening gel is applied to your teeth. The gel is activated by a special lamp. After just one hour, if we can tear you away from your favourite TV programme, you will leave with brighter, whiter teeth.

In your home

Home teeth whitening is more or less the same process, but it allows you to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your home. We provide you with a kit that contains a less concentrated form of whitening gel, as well as mouth trays custom-made to fit around your teeth. You put the whitening gel into these trays and wear them for several hours a day, or overnight. You will start to see results after about 2 weeks.

Teeth whitening in Camden allow you to restore the sparkle to your teeth in time for a special occasions, holidays, or just to feel great about yourself as you go about your daily life.

How long does it last?

The effects of teeth whitening can last from several months to several years, depending on how well you take care of your dental hygiene.
