Refresh your smile

Are you completely happy with your smile? If the answer is no, you’re not alone. At Ace Dental in Camden, many of our patients come to us looking for ways to enhance their smile. With modern dentistry, there is a range of options you can choose from with the help and guidance of our skilled dentists. One of the most popular options is teeth whitening in Camden.

Why choose teeth whitening in Camden?

If the first thing you notice about your smile when you look in the mirror is discoloured or stained teeth, then teeth whitening could be the solution for you.

As we age, our teeth naturally start to lose their whiteness. However our diets and lifestyle can also affect the colour of our teeth. If you smoke, take certain medications, or often enjoy coffee, tea, or red wine, you may find your teeth looking worse for wear as a result.

You don’t have to put up with these stains and discolouration. Teeth whitening in Camden offers an effective, non-invasive solution.

How does teeth whitening work?

Teeth whitening in Camden, and else where, is based on the use of hydrogen peroxide, which whitens the enamel of your teeth. When you come in to see us, we will first examine your teeth to see if teeth whitening is indeed the right solution for you. Then we will make custom-made mouth trays that snugly fit over your teeth.

You have 2 options for teeth whitening when you come to Ace Dental: in-clinic or at-home teeth whitening. Teeth whitening in-clinic takes about an hour and a half, using a concentrated whitening gel containing hydrogen peroxide. The gel is activated with a special light and all you need to do is sit back and relax in our massage chair. You can choose to watch TV or listen to music to help pass the time.

Alternatively, you can have your teeth whitened from the comfort of your home, using a less concentrated whitening gel. You will need to wear your gel-filled trays for about 2 weeks before you see the results.

Teeth whitening is a temporary fix but you can make the results last longer by avoiding food and drinks that stain strongly, as well as reducing or quitting smoking.
