Smile brightly with beautiful white teeth

Are you self-conscious about your smile because you feel your teeth are stained and unattractive? If so, a simple teeth-whitening treatment could be the answer. Teeth whitening in Camden is easy, reasonable and can make a big difference to your self-confidence.

Types of teeth-whitening treatments

There are two different types of teeth whitening in Camden you can use. One is called power whitening, and is done at the practice, and the other is home whitening. Both types of whitening use custom-made trays that are made specially to fit your teeth.

How power whitening works

Power whitening is carried out at our practice in Camden. Firstly, you will visit us for a consultation, where we will take a look at your teeth and assess what can be done. A special tray will be custom-made to fit over your teeth, then you will come in for your whitening session. We use a bleaching agent containing hydrogen peroxide, which is activated by a special light while you relax in a comfortable chair. Once the treatment is complete, your teeth will be several shades whiter and you can smile with confidence.

More about at home whitening

Teeth whitening in Camden can also be done in the comfort of your own home. Just like with the power whitening, you will start with a consultation so the dentist can ascertain what type of staining your teeth have, and whether it can be treated. You will still have the custom-fitted tray, but the whitening will take place at home. Without the special light, it takes longer for the treatment to take effect, but after several days of using the bleaching agent your teeth will be just as bright as if you had power whitening.

Can teeth whitening in Camden work for everyone?

There are certain types of staining that teeth whitening in Camden isn’t suitable for, but if you come in for a consultation we can tell you whether whitening can work for you. Staining that has built up over time through diet or smoking can usually be treated easily. The whitening doesn’t work on crowns, dentures or veneers though. Visit our practice to see if teeth whitening in Camden is right for you.
